Mrs. Laverne Hubbard, 94 of Jackson went to sleep peacefully with her dear daughter by her side and woke up in her heavenly home.

Mrs. Hubbard was born on November 22, 1925 to the late Grover and Ruth Mount Seaton. She also is preceded in death by two brothers Gerld & Gilbert Seaton and her beloved husband of 61 years, Raymond Hubbard. She was born in Friendship Community in Chester County. She attended Pinson school where she loved to sing & play guitar.

She had a love for gospel music. Laverne’s greatest joy was her family, she loved caring, cooking and sewing for them. She worked hard canning and freezing food from Raymond’s garden. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, she loved her church and caring for the children of Calvary nursery and Mother’s Day out for 28 plus years. She was a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman.

Four great-grandchildren Grayson, Ruston, Beckett & Henry. We are thankful to know that she is completely healed and happy in Heaven.

We loved this precious, sweet, soft spoken woman of God. I still remember where the family sat in church at Calvary.
We are thankful she had such a long life to love her family.
Our condolences to the family.
Rejoicing with you that you will see her again.
