Ralph Bunyan Mills

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel with Bro. Mark Cagle and Dr. Elzie Danley officiating.

A native of Jackson, Ralph was born on December 17, 1941, the son of Ray and Gracie May Mills. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Kelli Mills.

Ralph was a truck driver for 32 years. Ralph loved bowling and baseball and was a lifelong Cardinals Fan.

Ralph was a 1961 graduate of South Side High School.

He was married to his loving wife for 17 wonderful years.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Buffington Mills; one brother, Willie Ray Mills (Ava) of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Betty Mills Sigler of Bemis, TN and Becky Mills Walker (Wayne) of Beech Bluff, TN; two grandchildren, Sara Raizola of Mindon, LA and Daniel Raizola (Val) of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 beginning at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be directed to the American Cancer Society in Ralph’s memory.
