Brandon Austin Dunkes, 28, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2010. Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a 10-year resident of Jacksonville and graduate of Mandarin High School. He was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and the Eagles.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father, John Dunkes and is survived by his adoring mother and step-father, Kathy & Robert Mondrone; aunt, Eileen Dey (Richard); cousins, Karen Kramarz & Richard Dey; step-sister, Melissa Baker & family; and step-brother Michael Mondrone.
Brandon’s life will be remembered by a gathering of his family and friends Wednesday, Aug. 25th from 4-6 p.m., with a special blessing immediately following at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
