Arnold O. Nesset

Arnold O. Nesset, 98 of Jacksonville passed away on September 13, 2012 surrounded by family. Arnold is preceded by his parents; Tillie and Henry Nesset and two sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 74 years Myrtle Halverson Nesset, sons; Charles Nesset (Mary) and Michael Nesset (Catherine), and daughter Mary Kay Hill (Jim), brother; Kenny Nesset (Ruth), grandchildren; Derek Nesset (Anna), Kelly Burchman (Gary), Trey Hill (Olivia), Natalie Twombly (Brent), Ryan Nesset, and Lauren Kingman (Brett), great-grandchildren; Emma and Jacob Burchman and Charlie Kingman. Arnold proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Navy. In tradition he also retired from civil service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Unit 126. Arnold will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and determining spirit. The family request in lieu of flowers; a memorial contribution can be made to Community Hospice of St. Augustine or Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 1415 S. McDuff Ave., Jax.FL 32205. Interment will follow at 2:00 at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205.
