Everett L. Cowart

Everett Lester Cowart, 70, of Jacksonville passed away on November 6, 2013. Born in Savannah, Georgia to the late James Oscar and Ollie Mae Cowart. Everett served in the Navy for more than 20 years then retired and worked at Cecil Field with Civil Service. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Everett was preceded in death by Dorothy Cowart of 39 years. He is survived by his current wife Debbie Webber-Cowart, four children: Teresa (Mike) Carney, Kevin (Tina) Arnold, Tonya (Steve) Rowzee, Tasha (George) Koller. Twelve beautiful grand children: Eric (Angela) Withers, Janie Lynn Cain, Hamilton (Holly) Warren, Travis Arnold, Ashley Arnold, Brian Carney, Brandon Rowzee, Jessica Carney, Chelsey Rowzee, Sydney Rowzee, Kylie Koller, Dylan Koller. Five beautiful great grand children: Victoria Withers, Sterling Cain, Desiree Cartmel, Aleana Wilson and Erica Withers. He survived by his brother James Oscar Cowart of Pembroke, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Town and Country Funeral Home- Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Visitation 2:00 - 3:00 at the funeral home, service at 3:00 followed by interment service at Riverside Memorial Park. Food will be provided for family and friends immediately after the service at Promise Land Baptist Church, 2197 Blair Road.

I am very sorry for the family of Mr. Cowart. I know your hearts are heavy. I truly enjoyed the time I spent with Mr. Cowart. He was a good man. He will be missed.

May god bless you and help to make your burden lite.its been a long time since i have seen , as i called him Chief my family meet him at Carl's Meat Market my husband has past too was known as Sailor Boy aka Russ.The girls were young tonya and tasha i did get to go to tonya's wedding . am so sorry i lost contact with the Family. and Sweet Dorothy may they both rest in the arms of Jesus now . To the whole Coward Family remember the Lord is with you always just call on his name he will help you at your time of need . I pray Chief (Everett) that you are at peace now we loved you friend amen.
