Sorry to hear about Georgia Mae ' s passing. She was a lovely lady and we enjoyed visiting with her and Joe some years ago. My condolences to all the family.  (My grandad was Emory and  daddy was Adolph).

I am so sorry that  I can't be there for your mother's service.  Please know that you have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother.   No matter how much you think you have prepared, it is always a terrible loss, leaving a big hole in your heart, with grief that is almost unbearable.  Your parents led exemplary lives and were loved by all who knew them.  Your parents certainly did things right in raising you.  I know they were very proud of the attractive, smart, well-organized , and most importantly, strong, caring, and devoted  daughter  that you are.  Your parents were very fortunate to have you in their lives for their last years.  I understand how much stress you have been under and how lost you must feel now. Saddened to hear of Georgia Mae's passing. Was so glad we got to meet her and her late husband Joe in the early '90s. My grandfather was Emory Middleton Spear and my father was Adolph Flatauer Spear.

Georgia Mae was one of the strongest women I know -- a great example for me and her granddaughter, Adeline Mae. She had a great sense of humor and could cook a mean pot roast and yummy grits and eggs!! She's playing music in a band on the beach right now--I just know it!! Love, Allison

Carolyn, we were all so blessed to have had our dear cousin Georgia Mae in our lives .  I have so many fond memories of her while I was growing up as well as an adult.  She was a very special lady and her passing is the end of an era in our family along with my wonderful Mom, Cora, Annie Claire, Uncle George and Aunt Eloise and also my sweet aunt, Neenie.  I loved them all so very much. Your many wonderful memories of her will always comfort you, even though the void in your life will never really go away.  She loved you very much and will be looking out for you from heaven while she is rejoicing in peace with all those she loved who preceded her. Nick and I wish you peace and comfort.
