When visiting family in Jacksonville, I had the pleasure of meeting "Cherry". She was always cheerful, and eager to say hello. She must have been a fantastic teacher, mother, wife, and friend.

May the family find comfort in the memories. Keeping in mind the Scriptural hope of everlasting life can help to sustain us during difficult times (John 17:3)

Mr Cape, Sorry for the loss of your wife Hazel. I never had the opportunity
to meet her but from hearing what your brother Charles had to say about her
she had to have been a wonderful lady.

Uncle Art, Frank and Michael, I will miss Aunt Cherry very much. I loved how we had the Georgia Bulldogs in common and she always had sound advice to give me. She was a straight shooter and I guess I get that from her as well. I have always cherished my middle name after her and have been told I look like her. Of course, being selfish, I will miss her southern pound cake the most and her great southern cooking! How special she made me feel when she made me one when Dad passed away. She knew how much I loved her pound cake and she went the extra effort during her own grief to make me one! I love you all and am so sad I can't be there to comfort you all as her life is being celebrated. I love you very much!
