Herbert Alvin Gordon was born May 7, 1939, and passed away August 20, 2015. He leaves behind his first cousins, Samuel & Alan Gordon and their families. “Herbie” was a lifetime resident of Jacksonville, graduating from Landon High School in 1957. He was a devoted son to his mother, Shirley Gordon, as his father died when he was a young child. He devoted many hours to charitable works. He will be remembered as a wonderful, warm-hearted friend to all. Special thanks to Linda & Bobby Rubens, who watched over him at Mt. Carmel. To his nurse, Judy, and the great staff & friends at River Garden Hebrew Home, we are forever grateful.
