Joan M Keating

Born in Philadelphia on August 24, 1950, daughter of Thomas William and Kathleen (Daly) McFarland, Joan attended Prendergast Catholic High School before receiving her undergraduate degree in Education from Cabrini University.

While raising her three boys, Joan was passionate about supporting them in all of their academic and athletic endeavors. Joan loved spending time with her family and friends. Throughout her community and vast network of friends, Joan was known for her kindness, compassion and desire to help others.

Joan primarily resided in Ponte Vedra, Florida, though she remained an avid Philadelphia sports fan, particularly the Phillies, dating back to fond memories of attending games with her father at Connie Mack Stadium throughout her childhood. Joan also enjoyed watching college basketball, traveling and taking vacations with her family.

Joan was preceded in death by her father, Thomas William, and her mother, Kathleen. Joan is survived by her three sons, Daniel (Kristin), Michael (Ursula) and Patrick, her five grandchildren (Daniel V, Jackson, Olivia, Gannon and Cason) her two sisters, Kathleen (McFarland) Estberg and Barbara (McFarland) Hoy, her two brothers Thomas William McFarland Jr. and Peter McFarland and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
