He was born on January 22, 1947 to Richard and Dorothy (Troutman) Ditzler in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Ken graduated from Milton High School in 1965 and he went on to be an Over the Road Truck driver for 44 years. His CB handle was “Super Duck”. He was awarded the 4 Million Mile Safety Award by the State of Iowa.
Ken was a member of the VFW in Muncy, PA and the Lycoming County Rod and Gun Club
Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, his gun collection, going to the Selinsgrove Speedway, Boxing and Penn State Football. He was witty and humorous, always ready to tell a good “trucker joke”, pulling pranks and enjoyed making everyone laugh.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Shari K. Reeves ( her husband Fred) of Jacksonville, FL and Teresa L. Beasley of Jacksonville, FL and Bobbie A. Ditzler of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
His sister, Dorothy L. Hower and his nephew Richard Curtis his grandsons, James “Jimmy” Nolan II (and his wife Holly), Kyle R. Nolan and Clayton L. Beasley.
His great grandchildren, Colton J. Nolan, Bryson L. Nolan, Tailynn K. Nolan and Easton E. Nolan
And his first true love, Lois M. Fuller. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Ditzler and his brother-in-law, Daniel Hower.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 3:00pm at Park City Baptist Church
7410 Park City Drive Jacksonville FL 32244. A reception will follow services in the Fellowship Hall.
