Scott Hiers graduated from Forrest High School in 1983, earned an associate degree from Florida Junior College and attended University of North Florida. He was an adrenaline junkie and filled this desire by surfing, snowboarding mountain biking, hiking, and even jumping off waterfalls. He loved anything related to the ocean such as fishing, or free diving and even catching lobster. He was an avid reader who loved to read about the places he would travel to. He was very cultured and loved to eat and drink exotic food and beverages. Scott’s true passion was being a great father and a great husband. Friends and family would say that Scott gave great advice and would give you his honest opinion even if you did not like it. He filled his life with adventure, fun, culture, and family.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; his two children, Cena and Matthew; his sister, Julia; his brothers, Marshall and Charles and his wife, Annette, as well as his nephew, Chad and his niece, Lindsey.
