He enjoyed fishing and being with his grandkids. His family was always first in his life.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Amy Layfield; daughters, Cardyn, Shannon, Samantha and Stevi; and six grandchildren, Laney, Chloe, Abby, Scott and Timothy.
He was the best husband, Dad and Papa. His love will always be felt and missed. So many memories, nothing can ever fill the place in our hearts where he still abides. We thank God for the life we all shared with this loving, giving, sweet man.
