It makes me sad to lose a friend, especially part of the family. Pete was my kind of a man, liked playing golf in jeans, liked fishing whether they were biting or not, taking a nap while a good football game was on, those kind of things. He will be missed. Love you Shirley. GG & Bubba

I always enjoyed going to Shirley's Professional Alterations and sitting with Pete in the office and just BS-ing with him about anything that came to mind. He always called me Son and I will always cherish that! My Heart goes out to my adopted Family! I just lost my Mother 24 Dec 2013, so my Heart is sitting heavy and I know what your going through. So sorry to hear of your loss. Pete was a great guy. When Pete was married to my sister I lived with them for several years. He was more like a big brother. I called him my favorite brother-in-law and he would call me his favorite-sister-in-law. He was the one who taught me all about football. That is why I became a Raider fan, we would watch the games on weeked. Even when he moved to NC he always kept in touch. Shirley I'm so glad that we all had him in our lives. He touch many of our lives. I will keep you and your family in our prayers. I have written this several times and thought I deleted is so here it is again. God bless you and you family. I will miss him so much. RIP Pete we love you.

We met Pete and Shirley in church through their daughter Alice and her husband Tim, and then became friends through their close friendship with Darrell and Connie Terry. Pete and Shirley were such good and caring friends to them and did so much for Sis. Terry. Pete was a loving and caring Christian man who left a wonderful testimony. His presence will be greatly missed by many. Love and prayers to Shirley, Alice and all their family.
