Dear Terry and Shawn, my heart goes out to you. Her loss must have been such a shock. We are never ready to lose someone we love regardless of circumstances. I feel so lucky to have taught with her at West Alexander. She was an excellent teacher and gave her heart and soul to the profession. Billie gave me such unique perspectives on the kids and parents. This was so helpful as I was new to the area. The picture you have, captured the smile that I always associated with her. She made a difference to all who crossed paths with her. I feel blessed to one of those people.-Janet Ward

I always thought Smiley was such an appropriate name for Billie Jo. She had the most beautiful smile and was always sharing it. So blessed that she was our kids' teacher. Our sincere condolences from the Wright family
