At an early age her family moved to Atwater, Ohio. After graduating from Waterloo High School, she later moved to Columbus, Ohio where she resided until her passing. She was currently employed for over 20 years at Central Ohio Primary Care, Westerville, Ohio as their Credentialing Manager and was looking forward to her upcoming retirement.
Her favorite things in life were softball and her pets. She began playing softball in her early 20’s and continued her involvement in that sport until today. She played with several female and co-ed teams, including the nationally ranked Macs Kids team and had a reputation as a feared hitter. She was the longtime President of the Berliner Action Team for Sports (B.A.T.S). Under her leadership of the Board, Berliner Park became a softball showplace. She was very dedicated to B.A.T.S and in 2018, she was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, of which she was very proud.
She also loved her little dogs with a passion. Her two Maltese, Rudy and Fletcher, a Yorkie named Bailey, and a Shih tzu named Fluffy never wanted for anything. They have preceded her in death.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Lynn. She is survived by her sister Deborah Lepley of Columbus, nephew Michael (Barb) Lynn; Scott (Tiffany) Lynn and niece Lisa Lynn – all of Atwater, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many special friends and acquaintances she has known throughout her life.
