Teresa, I am so sorry. I know we haven't been close over the last many years, but you are and will always be a loved member of our family. May the pain of today lessen in time and be replaced with happy memories.

I HAVE SPENT A NUMBER OF VERY SPECIAL YEARS WITH JOHN AS A FELLOW FIREFIGHTER, FROM RECRUIT TRAINING TO SPRING OF 2011 AT STATION 29. WE HAD SOME VERY SPECIAL MOMENTS OVER THE YEARS THAT HAVE PASSED. MAY TERESA AND FAMILY KNOW HOW BLESSED MY LIFE HAS BEEN KNOWING JOHN, SHARING BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL TIME WITH HIM. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES AND HEARTFELT SORROW GO OUT TO YOUR FAMILY AT THIS A MOST DIFFICULT AND TRYING TIME. IF YOU TERESA HAVE ANY NEED NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T HESITATE. A DEAR FRIEND OF JOHN'S, I LOVED HIM LIKE A BROTHER. EUGENE E. BROWN
