JoAnn Kennedy was born on December 3rd 1931, born to Coy and Annie Lou Johnson of Loganville, Ga. She had five sisters of which only one is still alive, Jacqueline Tallman. She passed away on October 8th, 2012, in her home in Stockbridge, Ga. She was a beloved mother to her five children, ten grand children and seven great grand children, to whom she brought so much joy and love to their lives. She was a member of Charity Baptist Fellowship in Jonesboro, Ga, where she served our Lord and Savior as a faithful baker which she took great pleasure in doing. She retired from Owens Illinois after 35 years of hard service as a Quality Control Inspector. She worked hard and loved her job. Some of the things she enjoyed doing were, first and foremost was spending time with her family, baking, gardening and loved cleaning. She is loved and will be missed greatly.
