I met Nita at ballroom dances in Jensen Beach. Though I didn’t get to know her well, I loved her smile and her laugh, warmth of personality, and enthusiasm for dance. Thank you to her kids for the facebook posts of her journey, and deepest sympathies to her family and friends. If I were not already committed to being out of town that weekend, I would for sure attend the memorial.

Fernando and I, Edna first met Nita when we were both living in PGA Village . We came to Florida in 2003 after living in Milwaukee Wisconsin . We became friends instantly, both of us were psychiatrists, our husbands were physicians. We started playing golf,
then we were into ballroom dancing in Vero Beach and other places in Port St Lucie.
Nita was recently widowed when we met. We almost knew Ben through her stories and memories.
Nita was a lovely loyal sincere caring friend. She was fun and funny, her laughter was contagious.
Fernando and I miss her a lot. Rest In Peace Nita, we will always remember you fondly.
