Oddward “John” Johannes Wikse, 85, was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on October 16, 1935 and peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his beloved family in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on April 19, 2021.

John attended Greenwich High School and then went on to get his Bachelors in Accounting at Bryant College. He then married Patricia House on August 30, 1958 and together shared 61 years of marriage. During John’s career, he worked as an accountant/controller at Arnold Bakers for 40 years. He enjoyed antiquing, traveling, growing orchids, analyzing the stock market, being a part of the Elks club and was an Elvis Presley fanatic!

John is survived by his wife, Patricia H. Wikse, children, John Charles Wikse (Janet Schlosser) and Janice (John) Schaaf, grandchildren, Jonathan (Lauren) Wikse, Brian and Andrew Wikse, Erica Mae Schaaf (Jake Edelstein) and Jason Schaaf. He is also survived by siblings, Idun Allerton, Sigrid Bray and Carl Wikse and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations payable to Trustbridge Hospice of The Palm Beaches in John's name.
