I had the honor of taking over Bill's territory for Abbott Labs on the eastern side of Cincinnati after he retired in 1987. What a true professional and well respected person he was!

On behalf of the Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati, we extend heartfelt sympathies to Bill's family, friends, and Notre Dame classmates. In 1957, Bill was awarded the club's highest honor - the Man of the Year Award (now named the Award of the Year) in recognition of his outstanding service and dedication to the club and our community. He will be remembered for his leadership and his love of Our Lady's University. Requiescat in pace.

Bill was my father's cousin. I can even remember meeting his father, Uncle Will, when I was small. I am very sorry to hear of his passing, and we will pray for the repose of his soul.

Bill was a good person, devout Catholic, and a real Notre Dame man. He was the founder and prime mover of the Jupiter-Tequesta Winter Notre Dame Luncheon Club which kept so many of us connected to the University and provided many hours of comradery and enjoyment. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends.
