October 19, 1922 – January 18, 2022
Predeceased by son Ken Mann, husbands Roy Mann, Geza Bartha, and partner Bill Taylor.
Survived by grandchildren Sten Mann, Kirsten De Laat (Ward), Karen Van Empel (Tom) and great-grandchildren Iris, Roos, Kaat, Fenne and Tijn; nephews Peter, Rod and John Bush, and her beloved dog Barney.
99 years young, always saying “I’m a child of the Depression”, she lived life to the fullest. One of B.C.’s first female pharmacists she began her family and career in Nelson. Moving to Cloverdale she opened her own pharmacy – after Roy’s passing she moved to Vancouver to begin a new life. She was blessed with many longtime friends, she loved to travel, her time in Mexico, driving herself until she was 95! We will miss her smile, laughter and enthusiasm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to M.S. Society of Canada gratefully accepted.
