Adeline R. (Barrows) Harrison, 92, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the NorthCare Hospice House. She was born September 5, 1918 in White River Junction, VT, the daughter of David A. and Annie M. (Ellis) Barrows. Her parents; four brothers; husbands, Dale Simmons, Clinton Leath, and Leonard Harrison; 2 sons, David and Arthur Leath, and one granddaughter Marie Leath preceded her in death. 2 sons, LeRoy Simmons (Ruth) of Gladstone, Richard Leath (Connie) of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Frances McCracken (Don) of Kansas City, KS; step-son, Robert Harrison (Anita); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren are her survivors. Visitation will be on Thursday September 9, 2010 from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
