Geraldine “Gerry” Graham, 97, of KCK, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Providence Medical Center. A private graveside service will be held Wed., June 20 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, KCK.
Gerry was born Oct. 28, 1920 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Downing and Elizabeth Wear. In her high school years, they moved to KCK, where she met Arthur Graham, Jr. and they were married in August 1945. Arthur worked for TWA and they enjoyed traveling overseas after their children were raised. But their favorite way to travel was on their mopeds all around KCK. They could often be seen riding together around town. In later years, Gerry moved to a nursing home and her favorite thing to do was play Bingo. She loved to win “coupons” and buy cans of soup with them, which she donated to a local church pantry “to help feed the kids.”
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, a grandson, Richard K. Graham, and son-in-law, Milton Molleson.
Gerry is survived by 3 children, Sandra Molleson, Robert Graham, and Richard A. Graham. She leaves a legacy of 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Gerry will be missed by all who knew her.
