Max E. Karnopp, 92, Kansas City, Kansas passed away March 10, 2018. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will be immediately following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Max was born on August 24, 1925 in Almena, Kansas. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was married to Rowena Ellis and together they had one child. They lived in the KC area most of their married life.
Max was preceded in passing by his wife, Rowena in 2013; one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Marsha (Phil) Jenkins of Kansas City, Kansas; one grandson, Robert Jenkins; and one granddaughter, Pam Herman; and three great grandchildren.
