Allen married Genevieve Hernandez on March 13th in 1965. They spent almost 56 years together until his death.
Allen worked as a draftsman for Kansas City Water Company for around 35 years until his retirement.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents; mother, Lillian Sieverin; father, H. Albert Sieverin; and son, A. Kent Sieverin Jr.
He leaves behind his wife, Genevieve Sieverin; daughter, Calli Sieverin-Wynes; granddaughter, Rebecca Wynes-Payea; great-grandchildren Starlynn, Adelynn, and Kai; son, Jason Sieverin; grandchildren, Alexis, Raina, Marcello, Jason Jr, and Adrian; great-granddaughter Lillianna; daughter in-law, Amy Sieverin; grandson, Brandon.
Allen enjoyed going to the gun range, climbing mountains in Estes Park, CO., traveling, spending time in the yard and working on projects with his big helper, Kai. He spent his days with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always very active in their lives. He was our ask no questions taxi driver at any hour as well as taking us all to appointments and school/work. He was someone we could all depend on when we needed help with anything. He enjoyed listening to oldies, mostly Elvis and hard rock. He even listened to rap with his granddaughter Rebecca. Allen will be so deeply missed and his family and friends will forever have wonderful memories to hold onto. Until we meet again.
The family of Allen Sieverin wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Robert E. Pluenneke and Kansas City Hospice house and all of their nurses who took excellent care of him in his final days.
