Anita V. Kleiman, 62, of Kansas City, MO passed away May 27, 2019. She was born in Kansas City, MO on June 8, 1956 to James and Angelina Kleiman. She attended St. Bernadette Grade School, and then Raytown High School. She was a dispatcher for the Kansas City Fire Department where she retired after 30 years of service.
Anita was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan, along with hockey. The family asks that you please wear your favorite Royals gear or other favorite team shirt for Anita’s service.
She was preceded in death by her parents James “Dick” and Angelina Kleiman; in-laws, Dave and Elaine Bruns and brother-in-law, David Bruns.
Anita is survived by her partner and spouse of 29 years, John Bruns; sister Jo Vita Kleiman; brother Richard Kleiman; niece Heather Kleiman; brother-in-law Mike Bruns and wife Val; sister-in-law Debbie Bruns; along with her beloved Girardi, Kleinman, and Bruns extended families.
