I was formerly Danny's Brother-in-Law, and I was very sorry to hear of his passing. While I have not had a lot of interaction with Danny in recent years, I have many fond memories of camping and spending holidays with Danny and his family. He had a great smile and a good heart. I am confident he is even now in the merciful arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As suggested, I will plan to send a contribution to the American Cancer Society in his honor. -- Keith Madsen

My sympathy to your family. My regrets that we reconnected at such trying time. Even so, the love Mary and Danny had for each other was evident and felt by all that cared for you at the clinic. Mary-Danny could not have had a better wife and caregiver. Danny was always a gentleman, even through long frustrating days in the last place anyone wants to be. Peace be with you.

Jim and Terry,
We are so sorry to learn of Danny's passing. We happened to see the obit in the Star this evening (Wed.)
Was glad to get to see him at Mary Lou's funeral. It had been a long time since seeing him at SMN high school as well as Leann. We are praying for you as well as the family.
With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Cheryl (Dan) Rhodes-Turnbull

My deepest sympathies to Mary, Barry, Brandon, Kaitlin, Holly and Mason. The love Danny had for you radiated from him and was obvious for all to see. Though I did not get to see him often, I will never forget his kindness and patience to a younger cousin. I never saw him lose his temper or heard him say a cross word. He made the world a better place and will be missed by all who knew him.

I want to extend my sympathy to the family of Danny. I was a neighbor of Howard and Lefa for 30 years when our children were growing up. I know he will be missed.

The family filled "their" pew at St.Bernadette's, not only by number, but with special warmth, love of family, and joy in their faith. Love, memories, and family and friends will always fill that pew. With an offering of prayers, support, and deepest sympathy, we of the 4pm mass, know DANNY will always be with his family. CeCe Theisen, Dorothy Miller, and friends in the "BACK PEW".

Danny was my beloved younger cousin. Even as a young boy, he was always kind, generous, and quick to laugh. My deepest sympathies to Mary, Brandon, Barry, Lefa, Howard, and all the rest of his family and dear friends. We will all miss him terribly. How wonderful that we got to share life with him for as long as we did!
