Georgia Rae Crow, 83, of Independence, MO, passed away on January 17th, 2021. She was born March 16, 1937 in Collinsville, OK to parents George and Dora Cason. Georgia graduated from Owasso High School in Oklahoma in 1954. Georgia was well accomplished and a gorgeous model. During her modeling career she modeled for Pepsi Cola and Mary Kay. She was also quite the entertainer and could play any instrument. Her favorite being the piano. Being a ragtime pianist, she was well known for her Gospel Melodies like “Just a Closer Walk with Thee”. Later in life she became a church treasurer and following in her dad’s footsteps, became a minister. She attended church at Bennington Chapel and Heart of America Church, both Assembly of God churches. Georgia was an understanding, generous and charitable person and always there to lend a hand.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Victor Campbell and four siblings Sequoyah, Margaret Ann, Sylvester, and Ted Cason. Georgia is survived by sister, Dorothy; daughters Terry Lee Grosen and Jeannie Rae Jones; grandchildren Melissa Sue Paavola, Pamela Marie Murillo, Angela Rae Grosen, and Tara Lee Longsdorf; great-grandchildren Brandon Wesley Grosen, Kurt Alan Paavola II, Elania Sequoyah Paavola, Athena Lily Palmer, Skyler Rose Murillo, Anthony Dakota Church, Averie Renee Martineau and Grant Jay Longsdorf.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
