She was born May 22, 1930 and attended Central High School, where she met the love of her life, Joe. They were married 49 years. She was an active member of One Spirit Methodist Church and a certified lay preacher in the Methodist Church. She was office manager of ESO-S Pictures for 16 years and worked for SSA 10 years before she retired. She loved to play bridge with her friends and card games with her great grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her son John, sisters Josephine and Ann, and brothers Cecil and Raymond. She is survived by her son Timothy (Rhonda) of Blanchard, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law Jo Ann, four grandsons, Patrick, Timothy, Steven, and Ryan, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to One Spirit United Methodist Church, 7900 Blue Ridge, KCMO.
Visitation 6:00 – 7:30 Friday May 18 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, KCMO. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Saturday at One Spirit with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
