Letha Mae Stanfield

Letha was born February 25, 1924 in Elliott, Iowa to Lester W. Norris and Elva D. (Silkett) Norris.

She worked in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse and retired in 1981.

Letha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gilbert G. Stanfield and her son Dennis W. Stanfield.

She leaves behind a son Gordon G. (Betty) Stanfield and a daughter Sharon K. Chiles. Letha also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.

A Visitation for Letha will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
