Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2018, 11:00 am at McGilley Antioch Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at noon. A private family burial will be held after the services at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Mary was born on April 25, 1931, in Madison, WI. She married Robert Wunsch in Marshfield, WI, in 1951. The Wunsch family moved to Kansas City in 1959. Mary was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert, and her oldest son, Gary Wunsch, as well as her brothers Richard, Robert and William Fass. She is survived by her brother Ronald Fass, her son, Keith (Patty) Wunsch, Midlothian, VA., and daughters, Debbie Wunsch, Kansas City, MO, Margie Schaff (Rick), Shawnee, KS., Sharon Wunsch, Kansas City, MO, Diane Laugel (Tim), Bloomington, IL, Sandra Bane (Stan), Kansas City, MO, and daughter-in-law Barbara Wunsch, Kansas City, MO, along with 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mary will be remembered for her love of family, animals, the Royals and Chiefs. She enjoyed traveling with family. Her sharp mind solved many Jeopardy questions and the daily crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed and we take comfort in the many happy memories we shared. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Red Cross.
