Nicholas (Nick) Harry Alexopoulos, 97, of Kansas City, passed away on March 22, 2018.
He was born on May 4, 1920, to Harry and Fern Alexopoulos of Kansas City, MO. He had two brothers – James and Fred. Nick graduated from Northeast High School before joining the United States Army and serving in World War II. After serving in the Army, he spent his career as an Assistant Manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co. In addition, he was a huge sports fan and absolutely loved the Royals and the Chiefs.
Nick was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicki Alexopoulos, wife, Lee Alexopoulos and his grandson, Patrick. Survivors include his granddaughter, Kristen Oehlert; grandson-in-law, Keith; and two handsome great-grandsons, Alexander “The Great” and Brandon “The Man”.
Visitation will be held on Wed., March 28 from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thurs., March 29 at Noon, followed by a reception. All arrangements will be held at the Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
