

Roger Dale Pfeifer, 79 passed away March 28, 2020 at his home in Overland Park, KS. Roger was born on March 8, 1941 and grew up in Neodesha, graduating with the Class of 59. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University and worked in engineering in the oil & gas industry. He was a long time employee of Williams Brothers in Tulsa, OK.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Dale Pfeifer and Pauline Vivian Bell Pfeifer and one brother, Ronald Bruce. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hastings Pfeifer, brother Richard (Lois) Pfeifer, Kansas City, MO and two children, Patrick (Maria) Pfeifer, Gilbert, AZ and Paula Pfeifer, Bixby, OK. One stepdaughter, Michele (Benjamin) Fisher, Tulsa, OK and two stepsons, Jerry (Jill) Elkins, Leesburg, VA and Eric (Leslie) Elkins, Hahira, GA. Ten grandchildren - Amanda (Jacob) Watkins, Isabella Pfeifer, Nicholas Pfeifer, Ashton (Lindsey) Olive, Ryan Olive, Hudson, Charleston and Pierce Elkins, Sullivan & Adeline Elkins and four great-grandchildren - Hunter Watkins, Riley, Patsy and Louise Olive and two honorary granddaughters - Cecilia and Sophia Fisher.
Roger was a loving husband, dedicated family man and a friend to everyone he knew. He was a talented stained glass artist and accomplished wood worker and loved spending time in his workshop. Roger was also an avid sports fan and loved riding his bicycle through the neighborhood, greeting all with his smiling blue eyes. Roger was a devout Christian and lifelong Mason. He will be deeply missed.
