On April 21, 1956, he married Suzanne M. Egan at St. Michael the Archangle Church in Kansas City. He worked as a salesman for Mid States Supply Company until 1970 when he and two associates started Quality Industrial Products, which he later sold in the 1980’s.
Ron was a member of the VFW Post 1829, American Legion Post 499, the D.A.V. and a longtime member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church
