

Jane Mary Stachowski passed away Sunday morning September 9th, 2018 peacefully in her Houston Texas home at the side of her loving husband John. Jane was 70 years old and a native of Dearborn Michigan.
Early in Jane's childhood she suffered from polio and wasn't given long to live. Despite all odds she grew up with a supportive family and at the age of 23 married the man of her dreams. Jane and John raised three wonderful children , Michael, Catherine and Thomas in Redford Michigan and later moved to Houston Texas. Jane continued to have health problems including Lupus, multiple broken bones and a heart condition during her adulthood but her unconditional love and faith kept her joyous everyday. She was known by everyone who met her to always be smiling, to be beautiful inside and out and most of all to be the kindest and loving woman anyone could ever meet.
Jane is survived by her husband of 47 years John Stachowski, her children and grandchildren, and their spouses Michael and Stephanie Stachowski with granddaughters Lily and Raegan of Phoenix, Arizona, Catherine and Marq Mosier with granddaughter Samantha and grandson Dexter of Cypress, Texas, Thomas and Christin Stachowski and step grandsons Austin and Dakota of Houston, Texas. Also surviving Jane are her sisters and family Catherine and Daniel Mianecki, Mary Ann and Richard Nelson and brother George Burger.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Wilma Burger and twin brother James Burger.
Jane had been blessed to have such wonderful true friends and extended family that span across two different countries. She touched so many lives with her kindness and pure heart.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend she will be truly be missed. Watch over us from heaven.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends are invited to join the family for a wake after the mass at a location to be determined depending on weather.
