Jeri Taylor Fuller passed away in Methodist West Hospital in Katy, Texas on January 9, 2019, from complications from cancer which she courageously battled for many years. Born on January 3, 1947, to Charles Leslie Taylor and Carletta Jean Stanley-Taylor in St Louis Illinois, Jeri spent most of her youth in Beaumont, TX. She graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont and studied at Lamar University. Jeri worked at Western Geophysical Company for many years and then worked at Conoco-Phillips where she retired in February 2014. Jeri, an ambitious, hard working, career driven woman throughout her life, went back to school in her fifties and earned her Certified Administrative Professional certification. Jeri met the love of her life, Alfred (Al) Fuller, and on August 8, 1992, they were married and the adventures began. This union brought together two families and through their travels, Jeri and Al met and befriended many who become a part of their extended family. Jeri’s greatest joy was her family and friends but travel was a close second. Their many fabulous trips covered the globe but Jeri always reminisced about having dinner at The Jules Vern Restaurant on the Eiffel Tower and how wonderful it was to share those memories with friends. Jeri enjoyed SPORTS……. and far behind sports she also enjoyed: reading, cooking, gardening, golf, and themed parties that showed off her creative spirit. Jeri enjoyed all parts of planning and executing an elegant dinner from cooking and place settings to proper matching serving accouterments that would provide a welcoming and beautiful environment for all friends and family to come together and create special memories. Jeri is survived by her mother, Carletta Jean Stanley-Taylor loving husband Alfred J Fuller, daughter Andrea (Wade) Winters, step-daughter Pamela Fuller (Christopher) Shaw, along with seven grandchildren, Reece, Rylan and Adilynne Winters, Josh Fuller, Courtney (Billy) Horton, Aria and Jason Fuller, and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Luke Horton as well as numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins. Jeri was predeceased by her father, Charles Leslie Taylor; brothers, James Leslie Taylor, Charles Brooks Taylor, and Thomas Sydney Taylor. Miss Me, But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long, And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me…but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It’s all a part of the master plan A step on the road to home When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know. And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, Miss me…but let me go.

The last time I saw Jeri, I came from St Louis to see my sister (Jeri’s mom). I was then going to Dallas to see Meghann, my Great-Niece in Cats. We all know how Jeri loved her grand-kids. She called and said "I have it all figured out. I’m going to get Addie and we are going to Dallas with you." So Andi took off work and away we went. Jeri wanted Addie to see Meghann put on her makeup. It was a very good trip. Well GG, now you're upstairs taking care of things and when you look down you will smile as Addie puts on her eye lashes (just like Meghann taught her.) I will always remember our trip and the sacrifice you made for your ADDIE!

September 2009 Budapest/Prague/Danube Riverboat Cruise! First of many wonderful trips made with Jeri, Al & Friends over the last 12 years. We will forever cherish our times together with Jeri whether we were exploring Europe, cruising on the Princess, visting NASCAR museum, kicking up our boots at the Houston Rodeo, taking in a dinner & movie, celebrating birthdays or enjoying each others company. Our precious friend who came into our world in 2007 with a smile & giving heart will always be a part of our favorite memories! There were no miles or time between Katy, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina just a friendship that is bonded by a forever love!
