As a young teenager I met a girl name tiara, Tiara's family became my family after a while and pearl (grandma) was one of them...I seen her exit her red neon and come towards the house and I'm thinkin to myself like who is this lady tiara says Steed that's my grandma and from that point in she was mine too! Jaida was raised around her and thought of her as her own great grandma because of the love the showed. Her family is a reflection of how she live her life and that is with love for everyone! I'm so thankful the lord blessed me and jaida with your presence through the years and we will miss you grandma. I pray god walks with moma Polley pearline and the rest of the family through this hard time and helps comfort everyone knowing that she made the ultimate transition and that is to heaven to be with her husband and our father who are in heaven.

Aunt Pearl was like no other, she was a one of a kind very rare Pearl to be exact. My childhood memories of her and my mom(her sister Lillian) up north at the cabin are bountiful and will live in my memory forever. Easters were the best growing up because of her and the kids coming to stay with us while the men went up north. The laughter she always brought with her wherever she went was contagious. You will never be forgotten!! Polly, Pearline and all the family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all.
