Wanda Lynette Calloway was born on July 17, 1960, at Women’s Hospital in Detroit, MI to the late parents of Bishop Robert and Ruth Calloway. Wanda grew up on the east side of the city of Detroit and attended Kettering High School and graduated from Barbizon Modeling School. She was a family and community oriented person who loved to cook and sing. Wanda was a successful entrepreneur owning Wanda Lynette’s World of Beauty. She also was a devoted member at Kirk in the Hills Church.
Wanda Lynette Calloway leaves to cherish her loving memories: her four sons, James, Robert III (Stephanie), Anthony, and William; her sisters, Carol, Patricia (Frank), Paulette, and Pat (Billy); her three brothers, Robert Jr., Ronald Sr. (Leslie) and Michael (Beverly); her extended children, Ramon, Joseph, Lisa, and Shanika; her goddaughters, Xaviana and Venus; Extended family: her two cousins, Marie (sister) and L.C. (brother); her best friends, Remona, Faith, and Lasaunda; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Bishop Robert and Ruth Calloway, Wanda was also preceded in death by her two twin children; her two sisters, Joyce and Alvia; her two nephews, Ronald Jr. and Xavier; and her godson, Deon.
