OBITUARY

Judith B Bergeron Messer

October 10, 1936April 11, 2012

Judith B. Messer, 75, of Keene, passed Wednesday morning, in her home, with her three children surrounding her, after fighting through a difficult disease.

She was born in Keene, on October 10, 1936 the daughter of Charles M. and Louise (Baldasaro) Bergeron. She was a 1954 graduate of Keene High School.

She lived in Harrisville before moving to Keene in 1968 with her children. She was married to Keith A, Messer for the past 42 years. You would find Judy working side by side with him in his remodeling business, KAM Building and Remodeling; painting, swinging a hammer, helping hang sheetrock or whatever else was necessary. She has spent the last several years taking care of her husband at home who was suffering from Alzheimer's.

She also started a craft business many years back. Many in the area may have some of her crafts hanging in their homes or remember seeing her at the annual Jonathan Daniels winter craft show.

She had a green thumb and could grow almost anything as shown in her yard every summer. There wasn't a better cook around.

She is survived by her husband: Keith A. Messer of Westmoreland; a daughter: Milissa (Missy) Reed and her husband Carl of Stoddard; two sons: Perry Davis of Dublin and Joel Davis and his wife Colleen of Malta, NY; six grandchildren: Mandi Kent and her husband James of Keene, Matthew Bemis and his partner Joni Rhoades of Keene, Zackary Davis and his wife Stephanie of Malta NY, Jakob Davis, currently serving in Afghanistan, and his fiancee Mallory, Jenna Reed of Keene and Delila Davis of Malta NY. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Aaron Kent, Taylor Bemis, Avery Bemis, Dylan Rhoades and Nathan Rhoades all of Keene. Her brother: Charles A. Bergeron died earlier.

Per Judy's wishes there will be no public calling hours or services. The family will celebrate Judy's life at a later date.
