Donald and Alice (Cox) Baker welcomed their daughter into the world on November 12, 1961 in Lynn, MA. Throughout her life, Robyn faced many struggles that formed her into the compassionate, giving and loving person that she was. Her faith was always her anchor and it helped her face the challenges of life and keep a positive outlook. She and her husband, Jonathan were members of the All Saints Church in Peterborough, NH.
One of Robyn’s greatest passions was being a Mom and Nana. Her home was always open to others and she was always happy to share her delicious “soul food” with guests; green beans, steak and homemade desserts. She also enjoyed going out to eat seafood, as well. No one was turned away from her house hungry and she made the most of what she had to help others.
Her unconditional love was shown to everyone that she met. She had a remarkable way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the world. There was never judgement given when others came to her for advice or to talk about things that they were going through. She would listen in love and offer advice on things that she had learned throughout her own experiences.
She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Klassen; her children, Desiree Berry, Danielle Eaton, Breyanna Baker, William Cutting, Shelby Cutting and Nakitta Emond; her grandchildren, Danny, Journei, Xavier, Legion, Alyana and Daelan; her brother, Homer Jones, Donald Baker and Randy Spearing; her sisters, Mary Campagna and Deonne Nelson and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is also survived by Selena Sigman, who she considered to be one of her daughters. She is predeceased by her sisters, Gladys, Theresa and Yvonne.
Robyn will be remembered in a Celebration of Life at the St. John's Episcopal Church in Lowell, MA on May 27, 2019 at 3pm. Rev. Jamie Hamilton will officiate. A committal service will be held at the All Saints Church on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Linda’s Closet, 43 Cypress St. Keene, NH. 03431 so that young women who are going into the workforce may have professional clothing and resources that they need.
