Sharon Kay Trigona

September 6, 1950October 7, 2021

Sharon Kay Trigona, first brightened the world September 6, 1950. The second daughter born to James and Leona, she was blessed with his looks and green thumb and her Mom’s love for reading and sense of humor. She spent her younger years in Lawton, Oklahoma where she tagged along with her sister Barbra, hunted for snakes and rocks with her brother Greg, and taught her sister Tiffany many of life’s lessons. She spent much of her youth in the Wichita Mountains exploring, swimming and hiking. Her soul felt at ease in the mountains and they were her place of peace.

Sharon was a silly, free spirit with a kind, gentle soul who always looked at the bright side of things. She was a loyal friend and second mom to many. She loved Converse, mismatched funky socks, fun hats and silly T-shirts. She was a voracious reader, oftentimes finishing a novel a day. She loved to plant seeds and watch as they blossomed into beautiful living things. Her love for rocks followed her into her adult years and she always had one in her purse or pocket.

On October 7th 2021 the world became a bit dimmer as Sharon was restored body, mind and soul. Those left missing her radiant smile and silly antics are her pride and joys, Dustie and Rhianna, the lights of her life, Christian and Harper, her faithful and beloved companion Bitsy, and all those who loved her. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 16th at 10am at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please honor her by showing kindness to a stranger, lending a helping hand to someone in need or donating to a local animal rescue.
