Gloria Jean Barr

Jeanie was born October 11 1944 in New Westminster BC to Ernest and Sadie Cline . She spent her early years growing up in Port Coquitlam, BC, where she met her husband John. They were married 58 years and Jean and John raised 4 children together, lived in many different places in Canada with the last twelve years, wintering with friends in Yuma and travelling the world together.

Jean is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 62 years John; daughters Leslie (Andy), Nadine (Jim), Lornell (Perry), son John(Barton); grandchildren Caitlin, Jennifer, Evan, Kyle, Michael, Raylin, and Mackenzie; great grandchildren Willow and River. Brother Ross(Marg), sister Donna, and brother James(Dorothy).

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 29, 2017 at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC. Refreshments to follow at the family home.
