Gordon Eugene Argue passed away at 92 yrs in Kelowna on June 17, 2020. He was a loving and devoted husband to Frances for very close to 66 years, a cherished dad to daughters Susan (Harry) and Mary-Jane, a caring grandpa to Rob (Jasmine), Danno (Danielle), Jennifer (Doug), Christina and Quintan, and an adoring great grandpa to Finley, Teagan, Celeste, Ryland and Austin. Also remembering Gordon are brother Gerald, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Gordon was predeceased by 5 brothers, 3 sisters & in laws. Dad was born at Lonely Lake, Manitoba on August 24, 1927. He moved to Brandon as a child and spent ¾ of his life there. Mom and dad lived in Brandon where they raised two daughters. They moved to Kelowna, in 2005 to be closer to their daughters. Dad worked for Retail Credit Co., Cargill and Bradleys until he retired in 1992. He was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church and a member of UCT (Brandon) and was involved with the Travelers Day Parade for many years, and also with the building of Riverview Curling Club. Mostly Dad will be remembered for his devotion to his family, always interested and willing to help in any way. He will be dearly missed.
