Lisbeth (Betty) Margaret Dormer, born October 23, 1936 in Saskatchewan, passed away after a short battle with Cancer on August 31, 2023 in Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her children Harvey Biem, Sandy Bourque, Betty Saunders; eight grandchildren and thirteen great, grandchildren; brothers Albert Giesbrecht, Larry Giesbrecht and sister Esther Stienley. Betty was predeceased by her husband Gordon Dormer and daughters Vera Bates and Vickey Howard as well as her other siblings. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary on September 11, 2023. Memorial donations in Lisbeth’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Last Post Fund would be appreciated.
