Mr. Horace Harold Mayo Jr.

Mr. Horace Harold Mayo Jr. was born September 11, 1932 in Dallas to parents; Horace Harold Mayo, Sr. and Alice Louise (Jones) Mayo and entered eternal rest on July 5, 2019 in Dallas. Harold was a family man, he loved his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids. Harold enjoyed watching Westerns on TV, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and Rawhide were some of his favorites. He liked guns and knives and had a passion for volunteering at the Kemp Fire Department where the annual fish fry was considered his favorite time of the year. Harold was an amazing man who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

Harold is preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.

He is survived by his; spouse Pat Yaws of Scurry, step-daughter Cindy Taylor and spouse Bobby of Scurry, step-daughter Debbie Taylor and spouse Thurman of Lively, daughter Shirley Hardesty and spouse Randy of Lively daughter Sharon Henderson of Kemp, grandsons; Justin, Tristin and Dakota of Lively, other beloved grandkids and great-grandkids, loving family members and many more friends.
