Ronald Ragen Wafford was born June 1, 1961 in Kleberg, Texas to parents Daniel William and Kathryn Frances (Cady) Wafford and entered eternal rest on April 30, 2018 at the age of 56. Ronald was a very family oriented man who loved his children and grandchildren. "Papa Bear" was a fitting name as he was a kind, gentle, tender hearted, patient, always smiling father and grandfather. Ronald enjoyed working on cars, fishing and guitars. Ronald was preceded in death by: his father, Daniel Wafford and late wife Christy Hooten.
He is survived by: daughter Taylor Wafford-Lee and spouse Levy of Chandler, daughter Alison Hooten of Mabank, daughter Shauna Roe and spouse Randy of Tool, sister Carolyn Sue Fischer of Seagoville, brother Ricky Wafford of Murphy, sister Connie Hernandez of Myrtle Springs, mother Kathryn Frances Wafford of Mabank, grandchildren; Trinity, Justice, Cooper, Carly, Aris, Seraphine, Sapphyre, beloved partner Netty Brown, dogs Bruiser and Buster, other loving family members and many more friends.
Simply stated, Ronald was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Ronald leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Ronald Ragen Wafford.
The family will hold a memorial service Saturday May 12 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and Caney Cove Resort in Malakoff. 14638 Travis Pkwy Malakoff, TX 75148

Ronald was always a good & laid back. I remember he worked with me in the moving business for my Uncle’s, we had fun!!! So sorry preyer’s for his whole family!!!

We went to see Bob Segar & Silver Bullet Band 1976 Tarrant County Convention Center , I will always remember that concert because Ronald is the one who turned me on to Bob Segar !! RIP Brother. My deepest condolences to the family may God comfort you . Israel Herrera
