Ken and I worked together at Adelphia/Time Warner. It was a pleasure to work with Ken. We would talk about deer hunting and horse racing. We would joke about naming my next horse "Cheat To Win" if I gotten back into horse racing.

Ken and I would contact each other from time to time after I left Time Warner. I haven't heard from Ken in quite soon time. I did a Google search and found out the sad news.

I had the pleasure to visit the Heftka household meeting Kathy and his dog "Moosey". The last time I seen him was at Lowes about a year ago. I talked to him about 10 minutes. If he wasn't in a hurry, we could have gotten lunch and talked all day.

I was lucky to know Ken. He was great man and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with the Heftka family during this time of loss.

Uncle Kenny you were one of my favorites and always made me laugh. You were one of the few who told me you were proud of me and I thank you for that. I know you have been around checking in please continue. Love you

May our deepest sympathies in some small way make his loss easier to bear. I can honestly say for the short time I'd known Ken, my life is brighter knowing he was in it. My prayers and well wishes go to the family!

I had the pleasure of being in the same hiring class as Ken with Adelphia and we went through the ranks together, always chatting about the deer and farming. He had such a great work ethic, and love for family. Do keep telling the stories-he left a great legacy.

Kathy, it was nice to have finally have met you. Ken had always spoke to me about you at work. Ken was one of the kindest and nicest people that I have known. He always reminisced about times him and I had at Westinghouse 15 years ago, knowing I didn't know him and never worked there. He may have told that tale to everyone else, but when he said it, you believed it was meant especially for you! He will definitely be missed.
