Damon "Butch" Warden

Damon is survived by his wife of 54 1/2 years Joyce Warden; sister Anita Fieldman; sister-in-law Carole Smith; sister Betty Erickson; brother-in-law Tom Christiansen; brother-in-law Dean Christiansen; Several nieces & nephews in Florida, Tennessee, and Minnesota.

Damon was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and had retired from Lockheed after 32 years where he spent time in California, Philadelphia, Canada, and Georgia as a Logistics Coordinator. He was a Navy veteran of 8 years, with service in Vietnam. Mr. Warden served our country honorably in the US Navy aboard the Kitty Hawk. He was Mason and member of Kennesaw #33 where he served as Worshipful Master in 2003. He also was member of the Royal Arch and Council, Council of Select Masters, Constantine Commandery #26, Order of Amaranth #22 McDonough, Order of Scotland, and the American Legion Post 26.

A visitation for Damon will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will occur Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A burial will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, Georgia 30064 with Military Honors and Masonic Rites. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made in memory of Mr. Warden to the Georgia Diabetes Research Foundation at P.O. Box 70638 Albany, GA 31708-0638 or georgiadiabetesresearchfoundation.org.
