I had the distinct honor and privilege of serving with Stretch in Vietnam and later in the 76th MAPS at Youngstown, Ohio. Stretch was a dedicated and professional military member. I shall remember the manner in which he instilled the best qualities in everyone he encountered. He was a highly respected NCO and loved by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. RIP Chief.

I had the pleasure of working with Stretch at Dobbins ARB. He was one of the finest Chiefs I ever met. No matter how a persons day was going he could always make you laugh and he had enough wisdom to always help others with problems. He will surely be missed by many and my condolences go out to his Family for their loss. RIP CHIEF
