Sammie Stocks, age 62, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Thursday May 10, 2018. Sammie was born November 29, 1955 to Frankie and Clifford Stocks. He served in the United States Air Force for sixteen years after that he worked for the United State Postal service and retired in 2014. He was a devoted husband to his wife Vilma for thirty two years, and loving father to his son Tristan. The family referred to him as the best guy, his family was every thing to him. Sammie was an avid sports fan, but his favorite was the Atlanta Falcons and he was Christian in faith.
Sammie is survived by his wife of, Vilma Stocks; son Tristan Stocks; mother Frankie Stocks; brother Alvin Stocks, sisters Debra Brice, Amanda Ford, Tammy Mitchell and stepsister Barbara Harris, brother-in-laws; Lincoln Peek ,Kenny Mitchell and Gary Harris, sister-in-law Maryland and other family member, several nieces and nephews Sammie was preceded in death by; father Clifford Stocks, sister Linda Peek and stepbrother Bill William.
A visitation for Sammie will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Burial will at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr., Canton , Georgia 30194.
